CrossFit Classes

We are unlike the regular gym, where you do your own thing. In our High Performance Gym, you will be coached each and every time you walk through the door.

We are not caddys, clipboard holders, or rep counters. We are more than time keepers, score recorders, and motivators. We are responsible for ensuring that your workout is not easy nor impossible; that your form and range of motion is correct; that your speed & intensity is sufficient; that the exercise and load is adjusted to your fitness level; AND we ensure your performance gains (as long as you show up & work!).

On top of all that, we will teach you things that you have NEVER thought possible at your current state. We will teach you basic gymnastics and Olympic weightlifting. You'll learn how to move your body faster; how to generate more power; and how to build strength. We'll also teach you about performance nutrition, no gimmicks or unnecessary supplements, but real food nutrition.

Classes start promptly at the top of the hour and include warm-up, skill training & practice, and then the WoD (workout of the day). This is where training enters the realm of sport and the competition begins. Classes are intense, challenging, & fun.

The monthly fees depend on the frequency of training, and whether you opt for a contract or not. Average amount will be $100 to $175/month.

NOTE: You can NOT just walk in and enter our classes. Since we are performance based, we expect you to have a general understanding of our foundation movements AND be able to perform them with light loads. Everyone MUST go through our Foundation Program. There are many levels & options, all based on your skill level (not strength level) & your "coachability" (read: how hard it's gonna be to train you).

Foundation Program

Everything we do at CrossFit Evolution focuses on quality of instruction, safety and effectiveness. Therefore, specific skills are required prior to entry into our CrossFit Classes.

The Program is curriculum-based and emphasizes exposure to the CrossFit basic movements, correct form, proper technique, full range of motion, intensity, & skill development. Sessions are 50 min, 1-on-1, include skill training & a workout.

Included in the curriculum: squat, front squat, overhead squat, press, push press, push jerk, thruster, deadlift, Olympic warm-up, hang power clean, and hang power snatch.

HOW MANY SESSIONS?

That depends solely upon your completion of the Intro (Group or Private). We will gauge your skill level and determine how many sessions it will take to bring you up to speed. Again, it's all curriculum based, like a checklist. Sessions needed to bring you up to speed vary by person but most people will need between 3-9 sessions. Each session is $60. Payment plans are available.

 Generally:
Those new to training, very sedentary, or with health, weight, or mobility issues need 9 sessions.
The active & healthy may only need 3-6 sessions.
Those with weightlifting, gymnastics, or CrossFit experience may need only 1 session or may even go right into classes.
