"Since starting CrossFit, I ’d have to say I’m probably in the best shape of my life. I’ve been in decent shape for specific sports at various times but nothing like the overall fitness I get at CrossFit. Since I started the recommended Zone diet along with frequent workouts, I’ve lost about 20 lbs. The best part though, is there seems to be no end in sight, the workouts are fun and varied, and each week I can see definite progress.
I went to big commercial gyms for years, but had a hard time staying motivated with the repetitive, boring standard workouts. Trainers there usually looked equally bored and uninspired, and progress for me was slow.
I knew from martial arts and other sports I’d done that working out shouldn’t be drudgery, but rather a fun break, but it was hard to find classes that fit into my busy schedule. Last summer I joined a local rowing club, and started going to races. I loved it and wanted to win more, but I knew that I needed some work on core strength and general fitness that rowing practice alone didn’t provide.
I looked again at gyms and was dreading going back to the weight machines. But then I came across the CrossFit website. I was immediately impressed by the good solid, practical information, without any sort of pretentious claims, fees or ads found on most other fitness websites. I watched a couple of the videos, and knew right away that I had to try it.
That led me to CrossFit Evolution. Workouts are now by far the best part of my day. The atmosphere is what makes CrossFit so unique; it’s extremely supportive but competitive enough to be inspiring at the same time. Monique and Leo are not only very knowledgeable but constantly strive to improve and find new things to integrate into the gym. They’re also always willing to take the time to do a little extra work or answer any questions.
I’ve made far greater improvements with CrossFit in just a few months, than I ever did with any other sport or gym over a much longer time. Because CrossFit provides broad general fitness, I no longer have areas that feel extremely weak compared to others. The back pain I used to get sometimes is totally gone. My rowing benchmark times and technique have improved greatly as a direct result of CrossFit. I can’t say enough good things about it, and wish I’d found it years ago."

"CrossFit has made a huge impact on my life. When I first started out I had a bit of a belly and weighed 180lbs. Now I stay between 165 & 170 and you can see the cuts in my abs. I have never experienced training that got me cardio, strength, and muscle definition so quickly. Monique and Leo are extremely knowledgeable and help me reach my personal goals in the
arts I practice. They also have taught me how to eat right and what supplements are right for me.
I realized quickly that it was going to be demanding, but within two weeks I was totally addicted and couldn't wait for the next training day. People were asking me what I had been doing - I clearly lost weight and you could see my abs.
I have noticed huge improvements in my dynamic movements, in my Martial arts, tumbling and Free Running. The combination of Olympic weight training, Plyometrics, Gymnastics strength training is exactly what I need. I'm now doing jumps in Free Running/Parkour I never thought I could make, and all with ease.
CrossFit has done a lot for me and I think it can do something for everyone. Strength, endurance, muscle definition and the performance you really need for your goals no matter what sport, career, art or discipline. CrossFit can get you those results, especially when the trainers care about what you want out of it. Try getting that at other franchise gyms. CrossFit has done a lot for me physically and also has taught me a lot about myself mentally."
After an injury 2-3 years ago, Justice was never able to do pistols (one-legged deep squat) with his left leg because of his left knee, even after many months of traditional Rehabilitation therapy. On November 1, 2007, after 2 years of inability to do left leg pistols, Justice got his pistol. He completed a total of 36 pistols for EACH leg on that day's workout (along with the other required exercises). He was completely surprised especially since the last time he attempted pistols, it was well over a month ago. Justice has been training with us for over 4 months now.

"Since I started CrossFit I have made significant gains in strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance and overall fitness.
Most importantly, I have found that I have more energy throughout the day and night.
This has been a tremendous benefit for me working the night shift as a PA at a busy Emergency room.
I strongly recommend CrossFit. Monique and Leo are very attentive and helpful.
The workouts change every day so you never get bored. Also I feel I get much more out my CrossFit workout than traditional weightlifting and running."

"At my age, I've got alot of wear and tear. I've had a hip replacement, knee injuries, persistent lower back pain, 5 heart attacks and I have a pacemaker. I am most likely forgetting some things. I have been Crossfitting for 2 months now and notice that I am feeling stronger and that I can do alot more now than when I started. The most important thing I notice is that my lower back pain is completely gone. My wife is so happy that I started doing this, because she wants me to get healthy so I can be around longer. I'd like that too."
