Making Your Own Sandwiches

Lindsey before the last event at the Sectionals that secured her trip to the Regionals! 1500 m Row + 400 Sandbag Run + 2000 m trail run.

Women's Highlights from the 2010 CrossFit Games Florida Sectionals by CrossFit Again Faster - video [wmv] [mov]

How many rounds can you do in 20 mins of:
Run 500 m (around the building)
One Legged Squat 10 reps (total reps)
Rope Climb 1 ascent 15'

Post rounds & fractions of rounds to comments.

I'm not giving anti-Paleo advice here, rather here's some simple wisdom from Dan Millman's book - "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" that can be applied to your looks, performance, life etc:

"I was complaining about something to Socrates, some professor’s hard on me. He doesn’t seem to like me, or whatever. Socrates looked at me in an amused way. He said, “You know, you remind me of a guy I knew once. Every day at noon, he’d open his lunchbox, and say, ‘Not another peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I hate peanut butter and jelly.’”
The next day, he’d open his lunch box and say, “Oh, no peanut butter and jelly, again? I just can’t believe it.” Every single day was the same thing – same sandwich, same place. One of his workmates finally had enough and said, “Mac, you don’t like peanut butter and jelly, why don’t you ask your wife to make you something different?” Mac scratched his head and said, “What do you mean my wife? I’m not married. I make my own sandwiches.”

5 rds Rx'ed. Was going to sub KB swings or something else for pistols, but everything felt fine. Kept a good, fairly relaxed pace the entire time. The run was actually a little more rough on the glute than the pistols. Used a 10 lbs plate as counterweight.

Good day.

5 rounds Rx + 300m loop (knew I couldn't make the 500 but had to do something with 1:40 left!)

6 rounds Rx + about 400m of the 500m loop. Tried real hard to get in that last 500m loop before 20 minutes, but ended up about 15 seconds short.

5 rounds Rx

4 Rounds Rx + 1 Run + 10 Pistols and was starting the climb. Had I just pushed a little harder on the last run, I'd have made that last climb. Screw that, I climbed that rope 5 times today (including practice climb) which kicks all a$$ IMHO. There will be 6 next time...at least!
