BTW for anybody who's wondering - my main camera is in repair (I broke flash by dropping it - but that's why I get insurance against it - since I know I destroy electronics). So the pics won't be the same for about another week.

Way to go Deb!

I love how it looks like Will is literally crying and yet Brit is laughing. Awesome!

Nice getting insurance.. is that through the store (i.e. Best Buy warranty?).

Will be in tonight. Yesterday had to take advantage of the weekday to make noise on my remodel project (only allowed to make noise M-F).

James - yeah it's BB extra protection plan or whatever it's called. I have it for the Flip, my laptop & the Nikon. Also for both our cell phones - my previous cell phone - I broke the screen in less than a month & had to pay $100 to fix it.
That's why CF is my sport - gear is tough & almost impossible to break.

Britt - that's chalk floating in the air. It's hard to see with a naked eye but the camera pics it up.

just found out that Ken Gall is not just a bad ass but also a Professor & a PhD. Pretty darn impressive!

GA Tech - Ken Gall
For those who don't know what that has anything to do with anything - he's a fellow CF competitor that I had a pleasure of competing with in 2 big events & he won the Iron Curtain this year in RTG division.

Ken Gall... Is that the crazy beastly guy who muscled up without a dip?

Won't be in today, got a lot of prep to do before we leave town tomorrow morning.

February 4, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterAnne

Anne - no, that was Jason aka Turbo J from CF Jax. He got 2nd place. Ken was the pale super lean dude :)

GA Tech... my alma mater! Respect!

As I move up the Higher Ed ladder I hope to have the pleasure of working with him (it's a small world).

That's a bad ass professor that's for sure :)

Long busy day. Did design work for the FL Sectionals t-shirts from 6:50 to 8:20 am - came out nice!

BW 197.5
Row 7 mins @ 20 spm = 1593 m, then
Bench 215/3 x3, then JM press 135/8, 145/8, 155/8, then
CF Endurance WoD: 40 sec on/20 sec off x5 rounds - running (not sure about the distance - probably 1200 m or so)

Tumbling 1 hr,

Row/Thruster WoD
11:50 rx'ed. All thrusters unbroken.

150 DU's in 3:55. Was going to try max DU's in 8 mins but I did them less than 5 mins after the Row/Thrusters so changed my mind once started.

Good day. Functioning surprisingly well. Sore in the upper body and very slightly in the lower body.

By the way for those who are not sure about my personal training - do not mistake being in shape & training for the Games. There's absolutely no need to ever train like I do just for looking good/being healthy/having stellar times on workouts. This is merely to prepare for the rigors of multiple events in multiple days.

Hope that makes sense.

As RX'd in 12:46 I believe. Good workout. DU's in 7:22, my lats are so sore they were cramping during them. Friday off is much needed. My hands are still killing me.

February 4, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterJugs

Good workout. Got 42 DU which is a record for me.

Thrusters at 63#, think time for WOD was 17:36? I'm so bad at noting it - plus I had to do 25 burpees because I dropped my last thruster and it hit the wall : ( Punishment well deserved as I am planning on having a Cosmo (or two) and some sweets tomorrow for my B-Day!

Oh, and I'm sore already...

BW 203

19:56 Rx - pretty pumped, I have never been able to do a 135lb thruster b/c of my back. Come a long way, I was able to squat today staying upright, ART treatment is highly recommended, he has rebuilt me!!!!

DU were horrible. 7:5?, my shoulder were fried from the thrusters.
