One Hour

Gary Taubes - "Big Fat Lies". Make an hour in your life & watch the entire video. It'll open your eyes.

Pull-ups - max reps, then

Front Squat 3-3-3-3-3, then

Pull-ups - max reps.

Post loads & scores on pull-ups to comments. If you can't do pull-ups do 3x5 band assisted pull-ups before & after the Front Squats.

I swear Gary Taubes looks like Owen Wilson's Doppelganger. At least from the frozen frame in the above Google Video.
Good video though.

See ya'll in 2 hours. For some pullin' an' squat'n.

max pullups: 31 PR by 1...amazing, i know
FS: 173# I guess I'm alright with that, but it's no Wendy S with a heavy triple of 190# (On the other hand, I got 175/1 last time we maxed on fronts squats so it's personal improvement I should be happy with)
max pullups #2: 29

Started off the day with some Oly lifting and tumbling. Upgraded to doing back tucks on the cheese mat, I'll try on the spring floor again next week. No more tumble trac.

First set of pull-ups was disappointing, only 37, PR by one rep. Something is very wrong with my kip, I know I could have done much more than that. Not sure whats up, thats what saturdays are for though. Can't wait to see what I do once its straightened out.

Front squat was much better, working up to 365 for 3, barrrely missing 375. Don't remember what I did last time, but I'm sure thats a PR.

VERY good video on the mainsite about hydration in yesterday's post. EVERYONE should watch that. I think a lot of us underestimate hydration. I definitely noticed the effect today.

Bw 203, cut my calories and maintaining my weight, very happy with this. Will make another weight gain push in March

Max Pullups round 1 : 43 (PR) by 9, had maybe 5 more in me but I could feel my hands ripping

Front Squat Triples : 135/3, 155/3, 185/3, 205/3 (PR) - stopped there, my back rounded on the last rep, no need to hit the IR again

Max Pullups round 2 : 10 dead hang - opted for dead hang to avoid ripping, also wanted to see what I could do
