dear Sean,

I need to let you know..I did see the video of the so called "persistance" hunt of africa you posted on facebook. I enjoyed it but must let you in on some truth. These so called hunter Kulu tribe did NOT invent the persistance hunt. In fact they copied the hunting style from a far more primative and barbaric people. This most rustic and pure form of hunting was actually invented and perfected by the great people of JJ Whispers in the late 80's. People like myself, Scott M, and King James had to use our barbaric ways to hunt down and wear down poor unsuspecting "chicks" and force them to dance with us.

You may think I am lying but I will walk you thru our amazing rituals so you know I am not.

First you must imagine yourself at teen night wednesday night, in a night club filled with pre-pubesant teenaged kids doped up on cola, bubbalicious, and laffy taffy.

Then put the facinating beats of haddaway in the background (see link below)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsCXZczTQXo

We knew which chicks where to be hunted by looking for the leader woman with the highest teased and longest bangs. Why you ask, with the very high molecular weight of Aqua Fina hair spray we knew that for the girls to achive such long bangs and teased hair it would weight them down alot, weakening and making them more tired sooner. they where the prime targets.....

We would chase them around the club for hours and hours, only resting to chug more cola, do pushups in the bathroom and fix our bleach tipped hair. Eventually even the mightiest of women would tire of running away from us and collapse in fatigue. Victory was ours, we would dance and thrust our hips at them (not knowing what for, but we knew it was cool) bragging rights were ours we ran home and where asleep by 9:30 pm. The chicks would soon awake from there trance and turn into lesbians in absolute discust of the male species.

so please sean, I realize you may have been in diapers during this time, but understand that those phoneys in africa have copied the likes of scott, King James and I in there hunting technique....

long live Stevie B.........

Ramzi is living proof that there are no boundaries in our lives.

Ran 5.3 mile trail in Vibrams on Sun 8 am. Fun.

Can't wait for the Total 2.0.

WOW, I am speechless!

January 31, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterRoxanne

Haha, Thanks for clearing that up.

January 31, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterSean B

R - you are one crazy Mofo. The only thing you left out was the heavy amounts of Stetson used to take down the really strong ones that never wore down.

Monique - if this doesn't justify a need for open gym 7 days per week, then I don't know what will. We lose our minds when we have free time.

January 31, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterscott m

Wow... R you nailed it... If only I still had
pics of old gf's.. My GOD THE BANGS.. They we so hot.
Anyway I have good news and bad news. Good news is my job is finally safe (going through an acquisition) so I can afford CFEvo still (bad news for KJC).. bad news I won't be in tomorrow due to work but will absolutely be back to normal Tuesday. I may start up biz travel again in a few weeks tho thanks to my new overlords (Oracle Corp.).

BW 201

Pwr Sn 125/3 x3
FS 200/1 x3

Gymnastics, then

Clean 225/1, 245/1, 230/1 250/1, 260/f (missed 250 once and then got it, missed 260 a few times)

Bench Press 225/1, 245/1 pr. 250/1 PR

OHS 225/f, 225/1, 250/1. Probably could've gotten more but didn't go for it.

Thus: CFT 2.0=250+250+250=750

Good day.

Nice score Leo. Quick question on methodology. I notice when you post your wieghts you have progressions like your cleans today. You went to 245, succeeded and then dropped to 230, succeeded and then went to 250. Why the drop back and then the progression back up? Obviously I'm not critiquing, I am merely a student who is just learning.

February 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterScott M

sometimes the lift gets in my head - so dropping down a bit & getting a lighter one may (or may not) help for a heavier attempt.

February 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterLeo S

I also wonder if Rob O moved his schedule around to show us how it's done today?

February 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterLeo S

he is sitting in front of me as I type - he is not coming, too sore from trying MU's Saturday without warming up. If you only knew the things I have to listen to in a day. He did mention he is thinking about becoming a professional gymnast. He said I have to watch the video to understand. Mary Lou Overall has a nice ring to it.

February 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterAndrew

Michell - LOL

Andrew - what's up with your bench man? it always surprises me when I see your giant numbers on other weighted movements and the low bench numbers, is it because of the arm length or something?

February 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterRon M.

Ron, "giant numbers"?haha Where?
My bench will be better soon.

February 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterAndrew

Andrew - Clean/OHS/Deadlift/Snatch/Squat - you put up big numbers on most of those movements...

Clean: 145
Bench: 155
OHS: 115

Last weekend, I came to a conclusion that I'm ok with Double-Unders so I crossed them of my list. As of today, Overhead Squats are my new mortal enemy. They'll see me soon enough though...they've been marked.

Clean: 185#
Bench: 205#
Overhead Squat: 185# [PR]

I came pretty close to 200# on the OHS, but I guess I came forward a little and didn't go deep enough, still that's a PR by about 40# I believe so I'll take it...

February 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterRon M.

OHS-45/1,65/1,85/1,95/1,115/1(f)
